Bosun’s Workshop: a Community Resource Hub

By donating to BWS you are providing the local PNW maritime community with the opportunity to work with knowledgeable and flexible people, skills, and vessels.

At Bosun's Workshop we can pair up your abilities to fund certain projects with highly qualified people. We have community networking going back 3 generations of local mariners in the PNW. Our network is vast, and our mission is an overall reflection of preserving maritime history. This means we try to spread our abilities out to many historical ships. We have worked with Lady WA, Zodiac, Angel, Leiberhaven Yard, and are excited to include more of the historical PNW fleet. If you have a specific vessel in mind, we will find the resources to work on it!

Our new project is to give the historic motor yacht M/Y Westward some time to do restoration work. This  classic 102 year old vessel has been taking people to Alaska since the 1920's and is a staple of wooden boats in the Pacific Northwest. We would love the opportunity to give her the work she deserves.
